Kiki de Montparnasse: An Interview with Catel and Bocquet

October 30, 2012 | By French Culture

A new graphic novel by author and artist Jose-Luis Bocquet and Catel Muller — whose collaboration has already won several awards for the original French edition- examines the life of one of the most famous artist’s models of all time. Kiki was immortalized by artists such as Fernand Léger, Jean Cocteau, and her lover, Man Ray.

CUNY TV met up with Catel and Bocquet to talk about Kiki and their new book, Kiki de Montparnasse: A Graphic Biography, recently published in English.
