French Culture gets a makeover

March 29, 2013 | By Heather Kircher

Dear French and Francophile readers,

The Cultural Service in Atlanta does not customary write an editorial, but in light of all of the website and Cultural Agenda format changes, we would like to bring your attention to some important details.

As of January 1, 2013, we officially moved the majority of our cultural content to the federal Cultural Services of the French Embassy website (www.frenchculture.org), offering you more information, more style, and more access to all things French.

No longer limited to our cultural agenda for the latest and greatest French cultural events going on in your area—you may now check out our FrenchCulture.org to find out what’s going on locally and nationally. Simply adjust the location where you’re at or where you want to know about, and the website will provide you with all of the events and news of interest in that area.

Therefore, to find out about all cultural activities in the Southeast and beyond, go to: www.frenchculture.org.

To find out about all consular news and activities related to the Southeast, continue going to our website (www.consulfrance-atlanta.org ), where our Cultural Agenda, Bullétin Educatif, and monthly E-Newsletter are also located.

And lastly, are you interested in publicizing your French cultural event in our cultural agenda? It’s very easy: just send your event details to heather.kircher@diplomatie.gouv.fr.

Thank you very much, and happy reading!

Sincerely,

Heather, David, Aurélie, and Alexandre
