Fête de la Musique Brings 4,000 People to Central Park SummerStage

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy, Bureau Export and SummerStage welcomed nearly 4,000 music fans to Central Park SummerStage on June 21st for free performances from La Femme, General Elektriks, Yael Naim, and CharlElie Couture to celebrate la Fête de la Musique, a global tradition dating back to the early 1980s in France.

FACE Awards Twelve Contemporary Music Fund Grants

In 2016/2017, the FACE Contemporary Music Fund will support a great deal of ambitious, high-quality contemporary music projects. Twelve were selected through a competitive process and each received up to $14,000 in funding, with total grants to all projects amounting to $100,000.
