Albert Camus, Moralist Writer

Robert Zaretsky, author of A life worth living: Albert Camus and the Quest for Meaning, discusses Camus’ legacy as a superb writer and “one of our age’s great moralists.”  Endlessly dedicated to his writers’ “duty to truth and freedom,” Camus believed in the importance of exposing essential issues in our society through the written word.  Zaretsky, in turn, sheds new light on the engaged writer’s oeuvre.
