French Corners At Book Stores

As a result of a collaborative work with Albertine, the only New York bookstore devoted to books in French and in translation, your independent libraries across the U.S. and more specifically in Los Angeles (Book Soup) and Denver (Tattered Cover Book Store) will now showcase an inaugural selection of books encompassing a wide range of literary genres.

The specificity of these "French corners" sections is that they are the result of a curated selection. The hand-picked titles of the inaugural selection encompass a wide variety of fiction titles, ranging from classic authors like Honoré de Balzac and Simone de Beauvoir to modern writers such as novelist Michel Houellebecq and playwright Yasmina Reza.

And for all the West Coast bookworms, some very good news! Two of your favorite local independent stores, Tattered Cover Book Store located in Denver, Colorado and Book Soup in Los Angeles, California, have just opened their French Corners!

*Tattered Cover Book Store - 2526 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80206

*Book Soup - 8818 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069

Each of the participating store has created a special "French Corners" section on their shelves, featuring one of two options: a collection of 75 books in French, or a collection of 60 books in English translation plus 15 books in French. Be sure to discover the selection at your local indie bookstores!
