New Reads for Kids

The past few months have been an exciting time for French children's and teen authors whose books have been translated and published in English. From Marion Billet's new storybook I Love Music, Noisy Farm to Joseph Jaquet's fantastical Deep into the Forest, there is something for every reader! Below are some of the new reads that are perfect for the entire family throughout the summer and into the fall.

For animal-loving young readers, Marion Billet presents I Love Music, Noisy Farm, the second of the interactive storybook series that includes innovative animal sound technology to bring farm animals to life.

Bastien Contraire also writes for the youngest readers in Animals Hide and Seek, creating a masterpiece of odd-one-out cutouts meant to encourage kids to discover and think.

Joseph Jacquet leads readers on a similarly fascinating journey through the forest with his board book Deep in the Forest where readers encounter okapi and parakeets and tigers oh my!

Gaia Stella helps young kids learn their first words with vivid illustrations of familiar objects found in a house with her new book Welcome to My House.

Olivier Tallec captures audiences with his new read Blob, the brilliantly illustrated story of a fish who falls short of winning the coveted title "Ugliest Animal in the World."
