Stars' Haidressers

Jeanne Macaigne

The second book by Jeanne Macaigne, Stars' Hairdressers takes us on a hair raising journey. Romarin, Jacinthe and Timbale’s parents have moved to an isolated island. Renowned hairdressers, they weave a close relationship with the mysterious inhabitants of this island. The locals are strange and silent creatures who only come out at night to contemplate the starry sky. The sea winds howl so hard on stormy nights that their hair gets all tangled up. It is then up to the hairdressers to sort it out. But one night, as the three children discuss their new friends’ mysteries, the tree on which they have climbed wakes up…
