  • The events are as follows :


  • -Saturday, October 4th, 11am: A workshop for children, with readings of francophone tales with narrator Inès Jourde
    -Friday, October 24th, 7pm: A special panel in French with authors Véronique Ovaldé, Karla Suárez and José Manuel Fajardo. Co-presented by the French Alliance and the French Embassy in New York, as part of Festival de La Palabra NYC 2014, an international conference featuring writers from the Latin America, the United States, France and Spain.You can find more information here.
  • -Saturday, October 25th, 7pm: Laurent Seksik will discuss the life and work of Stefan Zweig
    -Tuesday, October 28th, 6pm: Hervé This will discuss Note-by-Note cooking (Columbia University Press, October 2014). Dispelling a host of misconceptions about the place of chemistry in cooking, This offers new ways of thinking about food.
    -Wednesday, October 29th, 7pm: A reading of Réparer les vivants and its English translation Birth of a Bridge with author Maylis de Kerangal.
