As part of the NYRB Classics events series, join McNally Jackson for an evening to celebrate poet and central figure of the French avant-garde, Pierre Reverdy. Readings from the NYRB's recent publication of a new selection of English translations by many of America's best translators and poets will be followed by discussion and wine.

Editor of the new book, Mary Ann Caws, along with Mark Polizzotti, Geoffrey O'Brien, Richard Sieburth, Ron Padgett, and Paul Auster, will read from the new collection, and discuss Reverdy's role in Montmartre's art scene in the early 20th century, as well as his continued influence among New York School poets.
