Each month, Albertine Books, located within the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York, hosts a number of lively events with visiting authors and other personalities whose work is in some way related to French Culture. All events are free and open.

Hélène Farnault takes us on a tour of fashion’s backstage, inhabited by exceptional designers, lacemakers, weavers, jewelers, feather workers, embroiderers, and many other specialized craftspeople. With the participation of Oscar Carvalho.

Exploring Violette Leduc
 THURS, June 25, 7PM
Join us for a discussion on the work of French novelist Violette Leduc on the occasion of the release of her novel Thérèse and Isabelle by the Feminist Press. With Amber Dawn, Dia Felix, and Jennifer Pashley.
