Riad Sattouf - "L'Arabe du Futur"
L'Arabe du Futur had already been awarded in France several times (Fauve d'Or at the International Festival of Angoulême comics in 2015 in particular), but this is the first prize that the comic has received abroad.

The award recognizes Riad Sattouf, who is also the author of Cahiers d'Esther, published in "L'Observateur", as one of the most read and popular French authors in the world. The comic is translated into 17 languages.
