Talking Across History: Literature as Dialogue

On Thursday, November 5, 2015, as part of Festival Albertine 2015, Ethiopian-American novelist and writer Dinaw Mengestu hosted a discussion on literature, postcolonial heritage, and what it means to write in a language that is not your own. It featured the novelist and journalist Kamel Daoud (The Meursault Investigation), and author and former president of PEN American Center, Francine Prose.
