BLUTCH

(Updated on 09/29/2014)

The author was awarded the Grand Prix d’Angoulême in 2009. His latest book translated in English, So Long, Silver Screen, is half graphic-novel half-essay and deals with the way film defines our lives and our dreams. Blutch’s relationship with the movies did not start with Silver Screen, as Hollywood clearly influenced most of his work. In 2007, he participated in Fear(s) of the Dark, a black-and-white animated horror anthology film, providing one of the shorts.
