Adieu Monsieur Haffmann at Théâtre du Lycée Français

Centered on the relationship between a Jewish jeweler, Joseph Haffman, and his employee, Pierre Vigner, in the context of the darkest hours of 1942 in Paris, the play explores the moral dilemma between them after M. Haffman offers Pierre his store in exchange of his protection: is Pierre going to take the risk of hiding his former employer? If so, under which conditions? Adieu, Monsieur Haffmann digs into thrilling questions with humour, tension and sensivity.

Acclaimed both by the critics and the public, Jean-Philippe Daguerre's play was nominated six times at the Molières Awards and won the awards for Best Play, Best Supporting Actor, Best Fancophone Author and Best Female Newcomer.
