Monday Evening Concerts: Upcoming Events

Couvent Sainte Marie de la Tourette - Le Corbusier and Iannis Xenakis, architects (1956-1960)

Monday Evening Concerts, one of the longest running series in the world devoted to contemporary music admired for their frequent presentation of music from both past and present, has released new events for their upcoming season.

November 25 at 8pm | Los Angeles. Iannis Xenakis's Pléïades and Bernard Parmegiani's De natura sonorum will be performed at Zipper Concert Hall. Directed by Jonathan Hepfer, the program highlights both the strong electroacoustic elements of Parmegiani’s De natura sonorum (1975) and the micronality and flocking of Xenakis’s Pléïades (1978) in order to explore the visceral nature of sound.

April 6 at 8pm | Los Angeles. Zipper Hall will host the musical stylings of Éliane Radigue through the performances of OCCAM DELTA XIII as well as Arvo Pärt’s TABULA RASA. The performances will highlight the complex nature of Radigue’s works through a series of solo collaborations. The following dates from the 7th-9th will host a series of artists-- Carol Robinson, Hélène Breschand and Louis-Michel Marion—in individual presentation of Radigue’s works.

Reduced priced tickets are available to students. Book your tickets soon to witness these upcoming musical performances!
