Le Salon de Musiques Chamber Music Series

For its eighth season, "Le Salon de Musiques Chamber Music Series: Masters Rediscovered," will feature a sequence of concerts from October 15th, 2017 to June 3rd, 2018. The first concert will be on October 15th at 4:00pm at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

"Le Salon de Musiques Chamber Concert Series: Masters Rediscovered" highlights music composed by various classical artists. The first concert this October will specifically feature pieces by Beethoven, Spohr, and Schubert performed by Serena McKinney (Violinist), Ambroise Aubrun (violinist), Ben Ullery (violist), and Yoshika Masuda (celloist). This performance will provide the audience with works from the Romantic/Neo-Romantic and Impressionist Repertoire and will remind the listeners of the astonishing work by nearly-forgotten classical music "masters." The concert will follow with an informal Q&A with the performers and a gourmet buffet catered by PATINA with French champagne.

This concert series was created and founded by French-American pianist, Francois Chouchan. Chouchan has lived in Los Angeles since 2007, however, he has participated in many musical competitions across Europe, such as the International Piano Competition in Italy, and has received many awards for his musical talent. Although he is a classical pianist, Chouchan is known for bringing his own innovative and "hip" approach to the classical music genre; this, along with his agreeable personality has earned Chouchan fans from different ages and tastes.
