In a world, where cities struggle to adopt to rising sea levels, lives Audrey, who discovers she posseses an anomalous cerebral structure, enabling her to hold her breath underwater for a very long time.

Inspired by the first forms of graphic narration such as Mathilde Bayeux’s tapestry, ancient Chinese scrolls and mural frescoes from classical antiquity, the interactive Phallaina Experience is akin to a continuous lateral tracking shot, comprised of a succession of drawings of different scales, blending together trough graphic transforamtions.

Created by Marietta Ren and produced by Alexandrine Stehelin and her team at the Paris based Small Bang Interactive Studio, the PHALLAINE Experience will, for the first time ever, be presented in a 360 degree projection environment.

In keeping with its pledge to present public, immersive, and multidisciplinary works, Faena Art has commissioned Juan Gatti to design a geodesic dome on the beach. The result is Time Capsule, a surreal garden-like orb featuring films, 360º projections, virtual reality experiences, and performances presented in partnership with Mercedes-Benz, Artsy, Film Gate, the Embassy of France Cultural Services, Surface Magazine, Barton and Gutierre Wines.
