The Chicago Architecture Biennial at the Alliance Française de Chicago: Jeanne Gang

Talk in French by Jeanne Gang founding principal of Studio Gang, a MacArthur Fellow and a Chevalier de l’Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur as part of the Chicago Architecture Biennial. An alumna of Harvard Graduate School of Design, recipient of the 2013 National Design Award, and 2016 Architect of the Year by the Architectural Review, Gang is widely acclaimed and her work has been shown at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Chicago Architecture Biennial, Museum of Modern Art, and Art Institute of Chicago. Her well-known Aqua Tower in Chicago shows her interest in design that develops relationships between individuals, communities, and environments. She and her firm are currently designing many projects around the world, and were one of two firms in the final round of the competition to redesign the Tour Montparnasse in Paris. A ne pas manquer!
