Cité Internationale Residency Program

The French Institute has launched its 2019 call for applications for a residency program directed towards foreign artists. Applications for the program are currently available on the IFprog platform from now until August 22nd.

The artist residency program held at the Cité Internationale in Paris in Paris strives to help artists develop, research, and create projects over 3-6 months. Artists in the program will be supported by cultural partners from various institutions such as French Institutes, Cultural Services of the French Embassies, French Alliances, as well as other cultural services.

Artists selected to participate in the program will be provided with housing workshops and associated partners will help finance travel and living expenses. Artists have the opportunity to create and present research projects in the following categories: young audience, environment and sustainable development; art and territories; research and technological and technological innovation. Projects in the mentioned categories may fall within the following represented disciplines: Architecture,  landscape, urban planning, visual arts, literature, music, photography, and theater.

Applications for the residential program at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris must be submitted through the IFprog platform by August 22 and selections will be made by the end of September.
