From November 19, 2018 to March 3, 2019, the state-of-the-art Denver Art Museum will be hosting the extensive Dior exposition “Dior: From Paris to the World.”

Over 72 years ago, in 1946, French fashion designer Christian Dior founded Dior, one of the world’s most famous and successful fashion houses to this date. From fashion designs to textiles to drawings and more, the brand has continued to grow throughout the years.

This winter, the history behind the successful entrepreneurship will come on display in Denver, Colorado at the Denver Art Museum for the museum’s Dior exposition.

The exhibition, opening mid-November, will exhibit over 70 years of Dior fashion and will discuss the company’s vast influence in the fashion world. The collection will include over 170 couture dresses, accessories, jewelry, drawings, videos, and more.

The chronological presentation, showcasing pivotal themes in the House of Dior’s history, will focus on how Christian Dior cemented his fashion house’s reputation within a decade and will highlight how his successors, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri, incorporated their own design aesthetic.
