Praz-Delavallade's New Exhibition Space

The contemporary Los Angeles art gallery, Praz-Delavallade, recently announced the opening of their latest project space, UNIT 5.

UNIT 5 will open their inaugural exhibition for Praz-Delavallade and 1301PE’s annex project space on October 13, 2018. The exhibition, entitled “I dream my painting and then I paint my dream” will remain open to the public until November 10.

The exhibition space annex to Praz-Delavallade is located at 6150 Wilshire Blvd, at UNIT 5, directly across the courtyard from Praz-Delavallade.

“I dream my painting and then I paint my dream,” an ethos uttered by the late Van Gogh, famously articulates a process of grappling with the medium of painting to function as a conduit for larger concepts beyond the domain of reality.

Following this concept of dreams, the exhibition will showcase several artists such as Matthew Brandt, Heather Cook, Alexander Kroll, Dan Levenson, Nathan Mabry, Amanda Ross-Ho, Joe Reihsen, Jim Shaw, Marnie Weber, Marnie Weber, Buy Yanai, and Brian Wills to show how artists elect the realities, internal and external, to showcase their dream.
