THIEFS at Nublu

On Friday, November 2 at 9pm don't miss the performance of THIEFS (Keith Witty & Christophe Panzani), whose album Graft was created through the support of the French-American Jazz Exchange (FAJE) program.

Presented by WBGO as part of their show The Checkout, THIEFS will open a night of jazz, followed by Japanese composer Big Yuki.

Hailed by The New York Times for its “startling mash of natural and synthetic, resonant and fractured music,” and by JazzTimes for “transcending the concept of idiom altogether,” Thiefs returns with an evocative odyssey informed by jazz, hip-hop, electronic, and experimental music.

With Christophe Panzani (sax, electronics), Keith Witty (bass, electronics), David Frazier Jr. (acoustic & electric drums), and Guillermo E. Brown (vocals, electronics).

The complete program is available here.

THIEFS tour is part of The French-American Jazz Exchange (FAJE), a program of FACE Foundation in collaboration with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy.
