Jain - U.S. Tour

Join us to listen to the joyous, sun-soaked, rhythm-driven sound of Jain, one of the most compelling new stars of the French pop scene!

On tour in North America from October 12 to November 1, from Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Washington D.C., and New York, the artist will bring her music, inspired by French techno, Arabic percussion and African rhythm, to new ears.

Singer and songwriter Jain (birth name Jeanne Galice) was born in Toulouse, France in 1992, with roots in Madagascar. As a child, she traveled a lot and lived in Congo, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. There, she studied an Arabic percussion instrument (the darbuka), which was her first introduction to music. In Congo, she met French producer Mr. Flash, who taught her programming. Her debut EP, released in 2015, included the singles "Come," the first song Jain wrote at the age of 16, and "Makeba," an ode to South African singer and civil rights activist Miriam Makeba.

After her first album Zanaka, recorded in Paris with producer Yodelice, achieved platinum sales in France within a couple of months of its release, Jain just released in September her second album, Souldier.
