French Cinema at Westchester Jewish Film Festival

Image : "A Bag of Marbles" directed by Christian Duguay

Jacob Burns Film Center will host the 2019 edition of the Westchester Jewish Film Festival. Featuring engaging films about the Jewish experience around the world, the event will present French productions and coproductions including the imaginative drama Transit directed by Christian Petzold or Christian Duguay’s heartwarming adaptation of Joshe Joffo’s memoir A Bag of Marbles. Other highlights include Shoah: Four Sisters by the late Claude Lanzmann, which reveals stunning footage he couldn’t use in his epic 1985 masterpiece Shoah.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 8 at noon.
