Saint-Saens & The Hippogriff Sonata

Le Salon de Musiques welcomes you to their seventh concert of the season "Le Salon de Musiques - Masters Rediscovered." This concert, called "Saint-Saens & The Hippogriff Sonata," will be taking place on April 7, 2019 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion

Pieces from a range of composures including Johann Sebastian Bach, Frédéric Chopin, Xaver Scharwenka, French Camille Saint-Saëns, and Philipp Scharwenka will be played.

Three special artists will be playing in the concert. Jessica Guideri, who also performs with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and records for major motion picture soundtracks, will be playing the violin. Eric Byers, who has has appeared on stages around the world including Carnegie Hall, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Edinburgh Festival, Kennedy Center, Disney Hall, and more, will be on the cello. Rodolfo Leone, a 26-year-old who was the First Prize Winner at the 15th International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna in 2017, will be performing on the piano.

Don't miss the chance to hear these talented musicians in person. Linger after the performance to enjoy a Tresor de France Champagne reception with a high tea buffet catered by Patina, along with a Q & A between the artists and the audience.

"Le Salon de Musiques is a unique event in Los Angeles, a feast for the senses where you can hear beautiful Chamber Music in an intimate setting (the way it was meant to be heard) and then talk with the performers while enjoying French Champagne and a gourmet high tea buffet catered by Patina."

- Henry SCHLINGER from Culture Spot LA

"A success in every sense of the word for the performances and the thoughtful musical curating by Le Salon de Musiques' Artistic Director Francois Chouchan!"
