SUNDANCE NOW Announces Season 3 Premiere of Internationally Acclaimed Spy Thriller Series “The Bureau” to Debut Exclusively on June 22, 2017.

Critically acclaimed French spy series The Bureau returns for its ten-episode third season on Thursday, June 22, 2017 as a Sundance Now Original. The addictive espionage series revolves around the double lives of undercover agents within the French secret service and stars Mathieu Kassovitz (“Amélie” and “Munich”) and Brad Leland (“Friday Night Lights” and “Deepwater Horizon”). Season three of The Bureau debuts as the streaming service expands to include more original series and will be available to stream exclusively for Sundance Now members in the U.S. and Canada. New episodes will be released every Thursday.
Based on real-life accounts by former French spies, The Bureau’s branch of undercover agents is dispatched to locations around the world where they live under false identities for several years at a time. This season centers around Guillaume “Malotru” Debailly, played by Mathieu Kassovitz, who is taken hostage by ISIS. Comparable to hit espionage series “The Americans” and “Homeland,” The Bureau invites viewers into the thrilling lives of spies and offers a new perspective on intelligence agencies and the intricate geopolitical questions of neighboring countriesThe Bureau has had astounding success in the U.S. and abroad, with critical acclaim from The New York Times and Vanity Fair.
