Rfi Romanian now Available on Mobile Phones in the US

RFI (Radio France Internationale), based in Paris, is a French current affairs radio station that broadcasts programs worldwide in French and 12 other languages.

Now, American listeners can access programs in Romanian on their mobile phones by dialing (832) 999-1737 (cost of local call, no need to use 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi networks). This is made possible through a partnership with AudioNow, first broadcaster of radio content for mobile phones in the United States. Cornel Ian, Director of the Romanian subsidiary of RFI, describes it as "serious, objective, professional, and independent."

RFI Romania's 13 hour daily programming is currently broadcast in five cities in Romania and Moldova, including Bucharest and Chisinau, and recovered by 50 other radio stations across the region. With AudioNow, Monte Carlo Doualiya (Arabic) and all versions of RFI programs (English, Farsi, French, Hausa, Khmer, Mandarin, Chinese, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Vietnamese) will be accessible anytime and anywhere in the United States.
