Applications Closed For French-american Digital Lab Session 2: New York

The French-American Digital Lab—a creative and an economic development program for startups and content creators of the cultural sector—is now accepting applications from French start ups and entrepreneurs wishing to take part in its second edition this fall.

Selected by a jury of experts, 10 French start-ups wishing to ready their products for a launch across the Atlantic will go to New York from October 17th through 26th, 2016. There, they'll engage in an intensive exchange program of workshops, conferences, off-site seminars at leading tech and cultural companies, networking events, and one-on-one product development brainstorming sessions with specialists in the field. 

Co-produced by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in New York and Business France and a program of French Tech New York and part of the Paris-New York Tandem, the Digital Lab is again partnering with host incubator and original programming partner in New York, the Made in NY Media Center by IFP, and has also joined forces this year with the Brooklyn Fashion + Design Accelerator, funded by the Pratt Institute in New York.

Met with much success during its first edition in New York in 2015, the Digital Lab aims to support young, creative leaders whose products transform the way we engage with culture and have a technological slant. In 2016, the Lab will focus on two primary themes—Storytelling and Virtual Reality and Fashion and Design.
