Run Time: 99 min

In occupied France, on the border of Switzerland, six year-old Sebastian tames and befriends an enormous yet gentle mountain dog, Belle, who quickly becomes the boy’s best friend and protector, despite the local villagers belief that she is the dangerous "beast" that has been attacking their sheep. When the Nazis arrive and begin rooting out resistance members along with the Jewish refugees they have been helping to escape, Belle and Sebastian prove their loyalty – to the village and each other – when they undertake a treacherous journey to help the cause.
