The Wine Country Film Festival (WCFF) is celebrating its 30th season from September 21 to September 26 in historic venues, wineries and outdoors under the stars in Glen Ellen and Kenwood, Sonoma Valley. WCFF presents films, speakers and special events about the arts, world cultures, and the environment. This year's edition includes two French films:

Saint Amour (Opening Night):
Chaos ensues when a father and son travel to a farm festival via the Wine Trail in a Parisian taxi.  Accompanied by a young quirkly taxi driver, they set off in the direction of France's major wine regions. Together, they are going to discover not only the wine routes, but also the road that leads back to love.
With Gérard Depardieu, Benoit Poelvoorde, Vincent Lacoste and Celine Sallette.
Date: Thursday, September 22, 2016
Location:  Muscardini Cellars in Kenwood
Gates open at 6pm, entertainment begins at 7pm, film begins 8pm.
French food and live music will be available.

Parisiennes:
Seeking inspiration for the main character in her next novel, Japanese author Kyoko Murakai heads to the French capital of Paris to meet twelve women from all walks of life. Instead, she finds herself on a mythical journey of self-discovery and renewal.  
With Eriko Takeda, Alex Brendemuhl, Judith Magre, Anne Benoit, Julie Debazac, Agnès Chateau.
Date: Thursday, September 24th at 6:30pm
