Come enjoy a taste of France with our first "French Flick & Picnic" at the Millennium Gate Museum in Atlanta. Following a French-style picnic under the stars, the evening will continue with a screening of the hit film "The Artist" with Jean Dujardin.

FRENCH-STYLE PICNIC

A light French-style picnic, provided by Atlanta's newest French bakery Café Vendôme, will be offered to all attendees. Prepared by award-winning Chef Karl, the picnic will include a homemade Quiche and a side dish, a delicious pastry (Madeleine, Financier or Cannelé) and a drink (water or soft drinks).

Fresh fruit and an assortment of French cheeses will be offered during the picnic. French wine will be served to guests over 21.

THE MOVIE

The Artist (2011, France, 1h40)

A silent movie star meets a young dancer, but the arrival of talking pictures sends their careers in opposite directions.

This 2011 French romantic comedy-drama received highly positive reviews and was nominated for six Golden Globes and won three: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Original Score, and Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Dujardin (France, 2011, 1h 40min).

The picnic starts at 6:30pm, followed by the feature film presentation at 7:30 pm.
