December 21: the shortest day of the year, celebrated by many civilizations as the day of renewal, is the perfect day to celebrate short films which are an integral part of cinema artistry...

"The Shortest Day" / "Le Jour le plus Court" is an international celebration of French short films taking place all over the globe. For its third edition, the Rhode Island Film Festival - Flickers Flickers will showcase "The Shortest Day" program in the only 3 venues within the United States (all in Rhode Island) ! Seven films will be screened on December 21:

The whole shorts series will be screened three times and in three different locations:

12:30pm - Providence Public Library, 150 Empire Street, Providence
1pm - Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St, Bristol, RI
7pm - Alliance Française de Providence, 928 Smith Street, Providence

All screenings are free and open to the public.
