Films on the Green is a free outdoor French film festival produced annually in New York City parks by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, FACE Foundation and the City of New York Parks & Recreation. Since 2008, the festival has brought classic and contemporary French cinema to New Yorkers, each season’s films cover a different theme from musicals to literary adaptations and Male figures in French cinema.


La Méditerranée

Rich with the vibrant colors, flavors and culture of the Mediterranean, Films on the Green 2015 is embarking on an adventure that spans the European continent, from the French Riviera to the coast of Algeria and from Lebanon and Tunisia to the island of Corsica.


Free and open to the public.
All films shown with English subtitles.
Music by WNYU Radio DJs prior to the screening!
