Films on the Lake is a free outdoor French film festival produced annually in Chicago parks by the Cultural Service at the Consulate General of France in Chicago and the Chicago Park District.

As part of the Chicago Park District’s 17th annual free outdoor Movies in the Parks, presented by Bank of America, seven French films will be shown with English or Spanish subtitles on the big screen over the course of seven summer evenings. Each screening will be part of a larger celebration in which musical entertainment and samples of food will be provided.

Films on the Lake is organized in partnership with the Alliance Française de Chicago, the Lycée Français de Chicago, the DuSable Museum, the Center on Halsted, the Consulate General of Mexico, Fiesta del Sol, the National Museum of Mexican Art, and the generous support of Kids Trail, TV5MONDE, Blue Foundation, and Bel Brands USA
