It’s the summer of 1979 as a bawdy, colorful bunch gathers in Brittany for a family celebration. Amidst the boozy bickering family chaos, eleven year-old, Albertine makes her transition into adolesence, recounting the thrills and pains of first love in a colorful 1970s nostalgia. Skylab, written and directed by Julie Delpy is an unfiltered comedy and “a lovely, easygoing movie with garrulity and charm” (The Guardian).

Julie Delpy was previously Oscar-nominated for co-writing Richard Linklater's Before Sunset (2004). The French actress, screenwriter and director was featured in Jean Luc Godard’s, Détective and various roles in both French and American cinema.
