“Breathe is a very good title for a film that ever so gradually takes your breath away.”
–Wall Street Journal

Breathe is Director Melanie Laurent’s latest film, featuring César winner Isabelle Carré, Joséphine Japy, Lou de Laâge and Claire Keim. This startling drama is about an intimate friendship between two teenage schoolgirls whose relationship turns sour when the two go on holiday together. In many ways, the movie echoes Blue is the Warmest Color while depicting its own portrait of youth and codependency.

The movie was well-received worldwide since it received three nominations at the 20th Lumières Awards and two nominations at the 40th César Awards.
