Call for Entries for the 25th International URTI Radio Grand Prix

Founded in 1989 by the International Radio and Television Union (URTI), the International URTI Radio Grand Prix rewards programs from around the world for their research and originality. Each year has a different theme, this year, for the 25th edition the theme is “frontiers”. This event aims to highlight the continued importance of radio and television worldwide, particularly in the fields of education and culture.

Participation is free and open to all radio broadcasters and audiovisual organizations. Participants may present between one and two programs, which cannot exceed 60 minutes. They must be entered in their original version accompanied by an English or French script.

The registration deadline for 2013 is September 6th.

Four finalists will be chosen by an international jury of radio professionals. The URTI Radio Grand Prix includes a 5,000 dollar grant.
