The Chelsea Film Festival Announces Second Edition

June 10, 2014 | By Romain Rancurel

The Chelsea Film Festival (CFF) announced its second edition in New York from October 16th-19th 2014 at the SVA Theatre. The second edition of the Chelsea Film Festival will focus on Global Issues, and will introduce foreign films to the public.

CFF was founded by French actresses Ingrid & Sonia Jean-Baptiste to give voices to the unheard by providing a platform to independent films and discovering new talents. It consists of four days of screenings of independent shorts, feature-lengths and documentaries from emerging directors with Q&A sessions and related events such as an industry mixer for professionals as well. The festival's Board of Directors consists of renowned industry insiders: Paul Calderon, Elizabeth Kemp, and John Patrick Shanley.

The Chelsea Film Festival is currently accepting submissions. The official submission deadline is Monday, July 7th 2014, with a late submission deadline of Friday, August 29th 2014.
More information on the official submission requirements - deadlines and fees - can be found here.

As Ingrid Jean-Baptiste, Founder of The Chelsea Film Festival, stated:
“Making the World a Better Place by Giving a Voice to the Unheard”
