French Series Bref Coming to US TV

Pivot, a new TV channel targeted at young adults, has picked up shortform French comedy Bref for broadcast in French with English subtitles.

The program, which was sold to Pivot by Lagardère Entertainment Rights, was produced by French indie My Box Productions and was written and directed by Bruno Muschio and Kyan Khojandi. First aired on French Pay TV Canal+ in 2011-2012 and also available online, Bref has drawn over 2.5 million viewers on Canal+ and millions more online.

Pivot, launched on August 1st, is a new television network from Participant Media serving passionate Millennials (18--‐34) with a diverse slate of talent and a mix of original series, acquired programming, films and documentaries.
