The 4th edition of UniFrance’s online film festival, My French Film Festival was met by unprecedented success as results grew four-fold compared with 2013. With viewers from 205 countries, the festival totaled 4 million viewings from January 17 to February 17, 2014.

The festival featured a selection of 10 feature films and 10 shorts subtitled in 13 languages and available across 20 platforms. The top 5 viewing countries were China, Poland, Russia, Mexico and Brazil. The number of films viewed on the myFrenchFilmFestival.com platform increased by 20% with 230,000 viewings.

In the US, the films were accessible on myFrenchFilmFestival.com, iTunes (through "Under the Milky Way") and TV5 Monde Cinema on Demand.

The festival was particularly successful in China thanks to the Youku and Tudou platforms with 3.5m viewings (+830%). Short film In Seventh Heaven grossed more than 2.5m viewings on its own, and feature film Augustine more than 350,000 viewings.

In parallel, 550 commercial theatrical screenings were shown for the first time in the US and Russia thanks to a partnership with American distributor Specticast. Dozens of non-commercial screenings were also shown via the Institut Français network.
