Outstanding Success for French Animation

February 7, 2013 | By Laura Pertuy

The French animated made-for-TV film The Jungle Bunch was awarded the Best One-Off, Special or TV Movie 2013 award held at Kidscreen Summit in New York on February 6th, 2013. Producer and collaborating writer, Jean-François Tosti accepted his award during a ceremony, also thanking co-directors David Alaux and Eric Tosti who could not be present.

French animation has been very popular lately. Indeed, last November, another French animated TV program, the pre-school series Zou (52x11’), produced by Cyber Group Studios, was awarded the first prize for Animated Television Program by the Children’s Jury of the 29th Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.
