RFI African Signal Now Available on Mobile Phones Across the US

December 3, 2012 | By French Culture

RFI, the leading French world news radio, has signed an extension of its distribution agreement with the provider of mobile phone broadcast radio distribution AudioNow, allowing its African Signal (in French) to be available 24/7 on mobile phones throughout the US. By dialling (213) 493-0290, French-speakers in the States can now listen to the African Signal of RFI at the price of a normal call without requiring 3G, 4G or WiFi networks. Users can access both the live signal (by dialling 1) and the latest African News Bulletin (by dialling 2).

RFI broadcasts its programs on AudioNow since 2009. Each month, 450,000 calls of an average duration of 20 minutes are made by people eager to follow RFI programs across the United States.
