French-American Creative Lab

Each application will be reviewed by a bi-national jury composed experts from the Tech and Culture industries.

The French-American Creative Lab is intended for startups that meet the following criteria:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
• Your service or product must be applicable to the cultural sector
• Your service or product must be innovative (though it may not be primarily tech-based)
• Your priority is to expand in the United States within the next 12 to 24 months
• You have identified potential partners and clients in New York and Los Angeles
• You finalized a Serie A or Serie B fundraising
• Your activity is incorporated in France and you currently work in France
• You are fluent in professional English

Fields of application: Music, Cinema, Television, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Video Games, Entertainment, Radio, Museums and Heritage, Performing Arts, Design, Fashion, Graphic and Plastic Arts, Book - Digital Publishing, Media, Cultural Promotion...

Fields of innovation (examples): Artificial Intelligence, Connected Objects, Big Data / Smart Data, Transmedia, Gamification, Mobility (Geotracking), Augmented Reality, Social Media, App, SaaS...

PROGRAM COSTS (for 2 persons / project)
• 100€ HT application fee (form included in the application file). This application fee is not refundable.
• 3,000€ HT participation costs (training sessions, workshop participation, organization of personalized appointments by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and Business France, admissions to networking events).

Participants are responsible for their own lodging, dining and transportation.
Participants might get financial support to cover the costs of the program.
