Alexandre Tharaud On Tour In 2016 In America

Acclaimed French pianist, Alexandre Tharaud, whose latest recording of Bach's 'Goldberg' Variations (Erato) was named one of the 25 "best classical music recordings of 2015" by the New York Times, will be performing a number of concerts with various major orchestras and diverse programming, throughout the United States in 2016.

"This admirable French pianist took a nine-month sabbatical to hone his interpretation of Bach’s “Goldberg” Variations. Beginning with a spacious Aria, Mr. Tharaud offers imaginatively ornamented renditions of each movement, his playing — full of contrasts — spirited and poetic by turn." - THE NEW YORK TIMES
