GONZERVATORY - Apply until Dec 1!

GONZERVATORY is an 8-day music performance workshop hosted by Grammy Award-winning entertainer and composer Chilly Gonzales. The selected students will win an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris for a week of intensive coaching, masterclasses and rehearsals, living together in musical immersion and culminating in a public concert led by Chilly Gonzales himself.

Six musicians aged 18-30, a group as diverse as possible from all around the world and from all sorts of different musical backgrounds, who write and perform their own material, regardless of level of experience, language or instrument (composing instumentalists, singer-songwriters, rappers, producers...) will be selected and brought to Paris (2018), Köln (2019) and
London (2020) for 7 days of intensive coaching, masterclasses and rehearsals, culminating in a public concert led by Chilly Gonzales himself.

Students will start each day with one-on-one coaching sessions with Gonzales, followed by afternoon masterclasses from special guests selected from Gonzales’ friends and collaborators. Evenings will see the students rehearse together, learning and practicing each other's songs for the grand finale concert at the end of the week. The entire experience will be documented to share with viewers. The goal is to explore Musical Humanism, audience psychology and what it means to be a performing musician in 2018.
