Jazz à Juan Festival

Jazz à Juan Festival 2018: July 12-22

The first edition of the Jazz à Juan Festival took place in 1960 under the hundred-year-old pine trees of Pinède Gould facing the Mediterranean Sea, in tribute to Sidney Bechet. The Festival pursues a dual mission: to promote the classical jazz and to provide a laboratory for artists to incorporate new genres and performance styles into jazz music. One of the oldest and most eclectic festivals in Europe, the Jazz à Juan has provided stage for numerous renowned artists including Stanley Clarke, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Dizzy Gillespie, Michel Legrand, Charles Minglus, Sonny Rollins, Sarah Vaughan, and many more.

To celebrate its 58th anniversary, the Jazz à Juan Festival 2018 features stars from around the world – Charles Pasi and Lenny Kravitz on the opening night; Ekram, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Carla Bruni, The Chick Corea Akoustic Band with John Patitucci and Dave WecklMarcus Miller, Youn Sun Nah, Norah Jones and many more!
