The European Tour

A special series of concerts features the amazing Franco-American collaboration between one of Boston's best music ensembles and one of France's greatest countertenors, Philippe Jaroussky.

In January of 2015, the critically-acclaimed Boston Early Music Festival will expend to the other side of the Atlantic, as over fifty BEMF artists embark on a 7-city tour of Europe, including four stops in France: Toulouse, Mérignac, Versailles, and Paris. This concert tour, featuring the all-star BEFM Orchestra and led by Musical Directors Paul O'Dette and Stephen Stubbs, will present performances of Agostino Steffani's Niobe, Regina di Tebe and will star Philippe Jaroussky and Karina Gauvin in the title roles.
