French singer and songwriter CharlElie Couture is coming on stage for the Los Angeles premiere concert of his newest release, Lafayette. Accompanying his delightful performance will be guitarist Karim Attoumane, and accordionist, banjo player and violinist Blake Miller to present works from his classic collection.

With his distinctive stony nasal voice and his strong regional accent, CharlElie Couture is one of the most colourful figures to have emerged from the new French music scene. Along with playing his piano and experimenting new tunes with his acoustic guitar, CharlElie has explored and discovered several diverse musical genres throughout much of his impressive career such as rock and electronic. His greatest passion however lies in blues, which can be most sense in his latest album, Lafayette.

This album, wild, fun, and heart-warming beautifully brings together his 4-decade musical experience into an intense, passionate, yet delicately poetic and harmonic melody. The mythical inspiration behind Lafayette can be contributed to his impressions of Louisiana which he characterizes himself as a 'mix of cultures like the French island lost in the middle of the American world'.
