On Sunday, December 4 at 3 pm, Celebrity Series of Boston will present German soprano Diana Damrau and French harpist Xavier de Maistre in recital at NEC’s Jordan Hall.

Diana Damrau has been called the “leading coloratura soprano in the world.” She continues to amaze audiences with her unique voice and arresting stage presence. Damrau was awarded the title Bayerische Kammersängerin in 2007 and named “Best Female Singer” at the 2014 International Opera Awards.

Hailed as a “virtuoso of the highest order” by Gramophone Magazine, Xavier de Maistre is redefining what is possible with his instrument, appearing with major orchestras and eminent conductors and collaborating with a range of chamber music partners. Program to include works by Debussy, Smetana, Richard Strauss, Reynaldo Hahn, Chausson, Fauré, Duparc and Eva Dall’Acqua.
