Don't miss your chance to see famous French musicians in New England during the month of February!

Both musicians have displayed an aptitude for defying expectations – the list of trip-hop cellists is pretty short, after all. And Ballake Sissoko has become a familiar name on the world music scene through his work with American blues legend Taj Mahal and Italian minimalist Ludovico Einaudi, among others. But perhaps the combination of kora and cello works so well because there are no expectations for it. The collaboration grew out of a personal friendship, and at no point was there an attempt to produce a record that would be slick and hip and commercial. Yet it has become one of Europe’s most buzzed-about world music recordings in the past year.

Cyrille tours throughout the world both with her band as well as in a duo setting with Brazilian guitarist Diego Figueriedo. About Mercer
There is a new generation of French DJs/Producers with international fame, Mercer is one of them. Hardwell first sensed a massive record in “Welcome to the Jungle” and signed it on his label. Track produced with ALVARO featuring Lil Jon, that reached a Top 3 on Beatport and had 3 million views on YouTube. Renowned Spinnin Records spotted the talent and released two tracks: “Supreme” and “Turn It Up”. Steve Aoki signed “Drop” straight away on DIM MAK, and the ball is rolling. Mercer has built up a proper image that suits him and obtains, in less than a year, full respect and support from Hardwell, Nicky Romero, ZEDD, David Guetta, Tommy Trash, Martin Garrix, Chuckie, Tiesto, Avicii, and Steve Angello, to name a few. You know the bet paid off when you get your tracks dropped in front of huge crowds in the middle of heavy sets at Ultra or Tomorrowland! In recent news, ZEDD just asked him for a remix of “Stay The Night”.

Six albums and two decades spent criss-crossing the globe, playing to enthusiastic audiences from Sydney to San Francisco and Berlin to Beijing, have enabled France’s Paris Combo to create a unique, cosmopolitan sound, establishing the band as one of the most piquant, intriguing groups on the international music scene. Fronted by the charismatic vocals of chanteuse Belle du Berry, the combo have struck a chord with critics and audiences alike with their fun-loving mix of swinging gypsy jazz, cabaret, French pop and Latino and Middle Eastern rhythms.
